LETTER FROM THE EDITOR My name is Victoria St. Michael, and I'm a Journalism student at Algonquin College living in Ottawa, Ontario. I'm proud and incredibly fortunate to be part of the Youth Centres Canada team as our magazine's editor. I love working with youth centres across Canada and having the chance to connect with their incredible staff and youth. Canada's youth are the ones who will build and shape our country's future, and it's my absolute pleasure to be working on a publication that lets people know about the great things these centres have been working on. Every issue we highlight programs, fundraisers and other events being held by youth centres. We also feature a Youth Centre Champion every issue, and with this issue we're excited to be starting our #YouthCentresMatter campaign! Tell us why you think youth centres matter! Submit a photo or tweet it out. You can contact me directly at youtheditor.ycc@gmail.com to nominate a youth centre champion, submit a photo for #YouthCentresMatter or to have your program or event featured in our next issue.
