12 SHOULDER TO SHOULDER NEW ADDITION AT THE DOMINION OFFICE Dominion President Rev. Canon Thomas McKnight and the executive are pleased to welcome our new staff member, Laila Saikaley to the Dominion office in Ottawa. Laila grew up in Halifax where she met and married her husband who serves in the Canadian Armed Forces. As a military spouse with three children, her family was very active and involved with the Halifax Military Family Resource Centre. She was even photographed for advertising the services of the MFRC in various publications. After being posted to Ottawa in 2012 they continued their ties with the MFRC in the national capital region and continue to be strong advocates of the programs and services it can offer military families. She is looking forward to utilizing her personal experiences and formal expertise in supporting ANAVETS as our Administrative Assistant. Laila takes over from Julie Landry who has relocated to Halifax as part of her family's military posting.
