Don Fisher Photo On August 6th 2017, Sidney Museum Unit 302 held its annual Bocce Ball Tournament with 24 players pairing up to make 12 teams competing for an afternoon of fun. On the left Deanna Leippi and Wally Norbury came second, Chantel Ingham (Sports Chair) Shane Holwell and Karen Quigley won the tournament and Rayny Day with his part- ner Jim Nield came third. A light lunch followed at the Unit along with traditional bubbly. Don Fisher Photo On April 10, 2017 Sidney Unit 302 invited Veterans from around the Saanich Peninsula to a special luncheon to remember Canada's victory and sacrifices at Vimy Ridge during WWI. More than 80 Veterans, Unit Executive & members and, the Mayor of Sidney (alone in the back row) attended to a successful Vimy Day remembrance. Don Fisher Photo
